For eight days, you will be taken to Cochin and be amazed at its harbor's amazing cacophony of sights and sounds, before you head out to Kumarakom and Periyar to get a glimpse of Kerala's wildlife and spectacular sunsets.
The highlight of your adventure is a backwater boat cruise where you can be immersed in local village scenes as you sail along Kerala's riverbanks.
Cochin is one of Kerala's commercial capitals which is always bustling with activities, and made more remarkable by its rich trading history, thereby garnering its reputation as the Queen of the Arabian Sea. Here, you will be taken on guided visits to St. Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, and the Chinese fishing nets.
Your tropical adventure will then take you to Periyar where you'll visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary by way of a boat ride to get a glimpse of elephants, tigers, bisons and other wildlife indigenous to Kerala, after which you will be taken on a jungle trek with a naturalist, providing you with more understanding on Kerala's flora and fauna.
Your tropical paradise Kerala trip will then continue on to Kumarakom where you spend one day at leisure, just enjoying your resort's facilities or you go on a self-exploration of this tropical paradise.
Your tour of tropical paradise Kerala will also have you experience what its like to sleep in a houseboat for a night. In this adventure, you will board a houseboat from Kumarakom and sail off to the backwaters of Kerala, to uniquely discover it's tropical beauty. After your overnight adventure onboard a houseboat, you will disembark in Allepey and will be driven to Cochin airport or railway station where your adventure ends.
