If you are searching for that authentic Indian vacation, a 6-day vacation package is the best trip for you. Your vacation will include ritualistic dance dramas and sightseeing tours in spice plantations, with deep valleys and mountains as backdrop. In this tour, you will explore the cities of Cochin, Perivar and Kumarakom.
You will start tour in the port city of Cochin, aptly called the Queen of the Arabian Sea where you can relax, walking along its quaint streets at your own pace or taking a boat cruise to visit the Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church and Jewish Synagogue. In the evening, you will be taken to a ritualistic dance drama, where you will be enthralled by a Kathakali performance. Your stay in Cochin will also include a guided visit to its Spice Markets, Fort Cochin and a chance to go antique shopping.Your vacations in Kerala will then continue on to a road transfer to Thekkady where you will stay for one night, to break your journey for a rest stop before heading to Perivar.
A tour of Perivar's spice plantations will be the first order of your day, after which you will then be treated to a memorable boat ride on the tranquil waters of Perivar Lake. Your tour will also bring you to a guided jungle trek in one of Perivar's surrounding forests.
After this reinvigorating trek, you will then be driven to Kumarakom where you will have an entire afternoon at your leisure. You can use this time by joining a sunset cruise, to view Kumarakom's majestic sunset.
Before departing Kumarakom, you will first go on a bird watching activity and arrive Cochin around noon. You will have the rest of your day at leisure, either go shopping or laze around your hotel's pool. You will then be treated to another dance drama on your last night in Kerala.
